1. the kid said this is a book report , on, about, JFK.
What’s the title of the book?
2. Who’s the author?
3. referring an event concerning ‘Houdini’, what paper, where, date?
4. Kennedy liked riding in convertibles. quote source?
5. ‘shot by man hating Marilyn Mmonroe’, source?
the kid did not rate an ‘F’, i’d say ‘C’.

Most public schools no longer teach cursive. It was deemed irrelevant about 5 years ago. Yeah, I know...but sex education for kindergartners through 3rd grade takes up so much time.

(As a retired Texas public school teacher, I highly recommend private school. (Written in 2015))

Trayvon Martin’s girlfriend can’t read cursive. Therefore, y’all guessed it, CURSIVE IS RACIST!

revelant
When you're at dinner with friends and one of your friends is on the cusp of getting drunk and attempts to say something "relevant" to the conversation but instead says "revelant," to which then your other friend, who is almost as drunk, repeats the word with just as much of conviction and supporting intonation that you believe it to be real. And at that moment you even come up with a definition thinking, 'reverant... and relevant?' Finally, your friend calls them out and crushes your dream of ever inventing a new word, the word "revelant". Deadpool is a revelant superhero in 2016, atypical of previous Marvel superhero movie franchises. by Burt M. February 24, 2016 www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=revelant

Yeah, I was rating it around a C also.. complicated by not knowing the kid’s age.

Yeah, I thought the reference to Houdini was great also... he’ll probably remember JFK’s birth year because of this association... I remember it because it was the year the USA entered WWI. The teacher should have encouraged his use of a mnemonic device.

i would say 5th, maybe 6th grade. the handwritingof the teacher indicates the mid-central states, without the usual old colonial flourish.

“revelant?”(sic)
That was first item I noticed, too.
The “kid’s” report was factually accurate; probably dictated by his whiskey-hammered great-uncle.
