Drama-queen wuss. What kind of man goes up to another man and slaps him across the face? You deck him, if you’re really that upset about it.
Too late. Maybe if you’d apologized to Chris last night when you first stepped up to receive your award it may have made a difference. But you waited a day to see which way the wind was blowing. Too late.

Can you imagine what this was like for him. I doubt he thought Smith was going to assault him and then yell like a crazy man. He was shook and then trying to figure out how to go on with the show.
He is probably trying to figure out the best way to handle this right now and keep his career. Certainly, charging him for assault is not the answer in terms of career

What guy truly outraged by an insult to his wife slaps another guy? Real men don’t slap. Fact is, I’ve seen some of those violence videos inside fast food restaurants, and even the women don’t slap. They throw roundhouse punches that would have taken Chris Rock’s head right off.

It was a sucker slap, which makes Will a real punk. Someone pointed out that if The Rock was the presenter rather than CHRIS Rock, Smith may well have refrained from charging the stage. lol

If he really didn’t know, then the joke was a Don Rickles style burn — edgy but “in bounds” given the genre.
Any rational person in charge would have had him removed.

It is plausible he didnt know. Not everyone watches Jada’s house of horrors revelations about her personal life....like sleeping with a friend of her son when she was helping him as a maternal figure
That was a punk move on Will’s part, even most of his black fans are saying that. The big question is if the Academy is going to mete out punishment to him or just ignore this behavior. A simple twitter apology isn’t enough in most people’s eyes. Or is it now ok to commit assault and battery in front of the whole world yet get a pass because you’re a wealthy celebrity?
