Others have made a great point about her response. Congress enacted Title IX for the benefit of women. At the time, we must assume that Congress knew what women were. So now, if Brown doesn’t know what a woman is, how can she make any rulings on Title IX? Also, Brown has a daughter. Does Brown know who gave birth to the daughter? Or did Brown’s husband carry the fetus to term? Does Kentanji Brown know that she too had a mother? Or is she confused over who gave birth to her?

Since Biden selected her based on her color and sex then it’s perfectly aok to not vote for her based on that.

Here is an excerpt from an email from Texas Scorecard”

When asked during her confirmation hearing this week if she could define what a “woman” is, Biden’s Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson said she could not because she was “not a biologist.”

Congrats to all the biologists currently making $50k a year. The Crazy Train has pulled to the gate carrying a load of college-educated passengers flush with cash who can’t figure out their own gender without your help. This is your moment.

Voting against her is a symbolic gesture since he knows Jumanji has the votes to be confirmed.

No Republican should vote for her. None.

If the shoe were on the other foot, they could just out her as the ringleader of a college rape circus.

As things stand, they have to convince a few D’s that the judge is so rock stupid she can’t recall what the Dred Scott decision was about, plus soft on kiddie porn, both of which are potentially good credentials for D appointees.

I think the pure self-interest motivation on many of the Rino’s might be a deciding factor here.

I can count a RINO to be completely self-serving and Biden’s presidency is so atrocious normally massively negative moves might actually stunt a lot of the outrage opposition to a black woman would mean.

They have decided on pure political self-interest.

Almost undoubtedly means she has enough votes from Republicans to pass.

The real question after the testimony this week is: which Republicans, if any, are going to be on board with Jackson?

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell told Republicans at a Thursday party lunch that Jackson’s nomination is “more controversial than expected,” according to people briefed on the lunch. It was a sign of hardening opposition from GOP leaders. McConnell on Thursday afternoon announced he would oppose Jackson’s nomination, citing that she “refuses to reject the fringe position that Democrats should try to pack the Supreme Court.” He added that Jackson did not have a sufficient paper trail on constitutional issues and that he was concerned about her sentencing record.

Hmm...well...didn't know that part of the story. We'll see.

Ultimately academic unless there are some Democrats who are going to vote against her nomination. 51-50 is still a confirmation even if GOP opposition is unanimous, which is doubtful.

a judge who totally and intentionally ignores the instructions of a certain law leading to reversal by the NINTH CIRCUIT is seriously off the rails. a ‘no’ doesn’t even say enough.

“It’s hard to imagine any of the Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee voting for her”

It’s hard to imagine any sentient decent human being voting for her.
