For all the right reasons, these crimes are what impeachments are tailor made for.

Evidently, they are able to extract a bunch more info. Supposedly there are a few 100GBs of data that has been recovered from data that was trashed but not completely deleted. The plan is to setup a Wikileaks type server for crowd sourcing. Maxey hints that new data is even worse than what they have already disclosed.
They can wash away the stink the same way they always do. They ignore the questions at first, and then deny any wrongdoing. Any investigations stop cold. No one presses on. This too shall pass.
IMO impeachment and Senate conviction will only occur at the pleasure of those who control Biden and probably does not now appear to them to be a profitable move.
It would more likely please them if Biden resigned due to health reasons which no one will doubt. If so, they will likely wait until the last moment whereupon Harris will grant a pardon.
The Dems will prepare to regroup during the next presidential cycle and leave the current economic mess for the divided R's to try to clean up. Once again, history will repeat itself.
Nothing will come from that.
