At the massive rate inflation is running, I am wondering whether Social Security might be forced to make emergency COLA adjustments in addition to the regular yearly COLAs.
Did such a thing happen during the Carter inflation?
I recall the company I worked for in the early 80s made several COLA adjustments in addition to bi-annual salary increases.
I’m surprised they didn’t fund a permanent wall and moat around the Crapital Building.

They obviously, if this is true, care nothing for the people. If they actually did this, they are going to raise those peoples' salaries to the TRUE inflation rate (which they DO know). I simply do not understand. Why are we not able to stand in line and enlist in the forces to fight this?
