Gas prices fueling coming Democratic bloodbath in midterms, Republicans say

Rep. Morgan Griffith tells Fox News Digital that 'inflation works against the party in control of Washington'

President Biden and congressional Democrats who have championed green energy policies while calling to shift away from domestic oil drilling are facing an uphill battle ahead of the midterm elections, as gas prices continue to climb from near-record highs following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

During his State of the Union address last week, Biden announced that the U.S. is releasing 30 million barrels from its Strategic Petroleum Reserve to protect consumers from the rising prices during the Russia-Ukraine war, but prices have kept rising. The national average has crested over $4 and set an all-time record on Monday.

Republicans argue that Biden has given Putin leverage by continuing Russian oil purchases while canceling the Keystone XL pipeline and freezing new oil and gas leases on federal lands. They accuse him of funding Russian President Vladimir Putin’s attack on Ukraine by refusing to sanction Russia’s oil and gas sector.

I beg to differ. Republicans in a handful of states had a chance to do something.

Republicans in DC stabbed President Trump in the back from Day One.

They’re just as guilty, if not more.

In Ohio, the RINO Supreme Court is using the 2020 D/R ratios to determine fairness in redistricting.

Hence the war....”It’s your patriotic duty to pay higher gas prices!”

And if you complain, “You’re giving aid and comfort to Putin!”

The midterm strategy should concentrate on how “perfect” Biden is.

As ms.behavin cogently observed......Biden doesn’t
even have a hemorrhoid.....he’s such a perfect a****le.

Biden never misses a chance to flaunt how perfect he is.

“I’m not going to make a judgment for other people,” he said recently, sounding more perfect than ever, when asked how he is able to reconcile his Catholic faith with his public support of abortion.

It must be a burden on perfect Biden to have created such perfection to be hounded by people who don’t appreciate his perfectness......sob.

His Atlanta speech revealed Biden’s intense dislike for Americans.......
and his displeasure at having created a “perfect government” for such horrible people.

Biden became unhinged in Georgia especially b/c Stacey Abrams was not there to hold his hand .

Biden made one startling declaration after another.

He reviled Americans who disagree with him about how he has “perfectly” ensured the integrity of the American electoral process.

To somebody as “perfect” as Biden, dealing with us modern-day noose-carrying Confederates, us vote-suppressing racist traitors, is such a burden when you’re THAT perfect.

We deplorables can never hope to achieve the perfection Biden......and the Democrats have achieved...... under his perfect tutelage.

The stupid party?

They would rather beat the Russia war drum and snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

They’re really good at that.

If rocketing gas prices and empty store shelves are Democratic elite-manufactured crises, then how many voters will Democrats fool if they let gas prices fall and allow stores build up their inventory, and then take credit for fixing economy in front of Election Day?

Insights welcome.

Really? You find that funny? I sure don’t. I believe that’s a statement of fact supported by tons of evidence.

It's an uphill battle to keep Brandon standing up. So far they've been successful, LOL.

37% approval, after constant sacking up by fake news, is “successful”?
On what planet is that?

Right. I wish that they would grow some balls and actually do something aside from acting like a herd of Chihuahuas. A lot of noise and no bites at all. But at least they are not democRATs, right?

Talking about elections, as though they are legitimate, is so outdated.

They got away with stealing the biggest election in the country, you think they're going to let a mid-term go honestly?

They will no more be able to control this inflation than Carter was in 1980. They don’t keep those arrows in their quiver.

It need to be repeated often that high gas prices are not a bug in the energy polices but a designed feature.
