I’m not sure what it was the other night - the video was shot about a quarter mile away - but whatever was raining down fire on the battlefield made it sound almost like popcorn popping, it was so intense. Stalin’s Organ x 10, so it looked.

He wont use nukes, but he’ll use thermobaric weapons.

Meanwhile, Ukraine’s military is asking people to remove the names of streets, cities and villages from road signs in their regions in order to ‘confuse and disorient the enemy’.

I was working in Florida when Andrew hit. Lot's of us drove down from Jacksonville to Miami, and this was the biggest logistical problem - all the street signs blew away. Took us forever to get around. This was the pre-GPS on your phone days.

He didn’t use nuclear weapons in Chechnya back then.

That’s a pretty cleaver tactic actually.

Not that many conscripts can read in their own language, much less Ukrainian.

The Russians can escalate and that includes using nuclear weapons.

Are you serious? That will never happen! What's the point in destroying a country you want to take over and render it uninhabitable via a nuclear strike?

Sheesh!

Either that or Putin will be deposed in a military coup.

Or some Dolittle type effort catches him.

People overestimate the fighting spirit of the modern day Russians...they know their invasion is unjust.

LOL!

Sorry to laugh at your comment but I can't get over the number of military experts on this site that know and profess what Putin is going to do next...........LOL!

Some of us have worked with Russians before.
IMHO, they are the most apathetic, unmotivated, and lazy individuals I’ve ever worked with.

I always wondered why they are considered a threat.

If the Russians don’t have a large stock of modern smart bombs, they surely have a bunch cold war dumb bombs that can be unloaded.

I’m pleasantly surprised as well. I thought Russia would go through Ukraine like a hot knife through butter.

As I thought about why this is happening, I came up with two possibilities:

- this is only Putin’s ego war. There is no clamor or popular support for his war from the regular Russian. And it’s looking more and more like even the soldiers’ hearts aren’t in it.

- the Ukrainians on the other hand have some serious skin in the game - their freedom and self determination and they’re showing both are very important to them - enough to put their lives on the line against great odds.

We still don’t know how all this is going to play out, but I’m totally rooting for Ukraine. If they win or even stalemate, it will be the end of Putin.

That would be a very happy ending, especially for all the other little countries Putin has in his sight.

The delusion is absurd on FR. It’s embarrassing to see people deny reality.

One more time. Russia doesn’t have to attack Kiev. Encirclement and starvation is far more crushing than rolling down streets and shooting up buildings.

There are a lot of mouths to feed. They will cut off all food influx. And that will be that. How people do not see this is mind boggling.
