Canada police plan to physically clear out the Ottawa Freedom Convoy on Friday after protests ground the capital to a halt for three weeks.
Local authorities announced they are preparing to take a more hard line approach after setting up 100 checkpoints in Ottawa to limit who can enter the city centre in an effort to disrupt reinforcements reaching the protest this weekend.
Large numbers of police have also been spotted congregating in the Canadian capital – with reinforcements being called in from Quebec – a subtle indication they are planning to take a more hands-on approach with the protestors.

Well, in all fairness they did this when BLM and Antifa rioted and burned down cities-—oh wait....

If that’s the case, Deep State couldn’t allow them to convene.

In other words they are going full Stasi. Demanding papers, what is your business here, etc. I'm going to self-censor what I would do, because if (when?) this kind of collective insanity comes to the US ...
If they are under house arrest and Parliament met, someone might count noses, realize who was missing, and start to wonder why...
Now I’m concerned about the safety of some of those members of the Parliament.

I totally agree. It’s not safe for our truckers to go into Canada. They should deliver their loads to the border and any company that wants it need to come pick it up.
Our truckers can not trust the Canadian government not to confiscate their loads and their trucks. No guarantee they won’t arrest our truckers and throw them in jail.
Well... I am sure NO insurance company will cover damage to vehicles (or damage done BY vehicles) driven by unauthorized people!!!

Seems like they oughta be cramping up after being “poised” for so long...
If we had a real president like Trump, he would be making this fact front and center and he would bring sanctions agaisnt Canada for arresting and or threatening our drivers there. He wouldn’t stand for this at all

Well if they are refusing to show any kind of an ID or a badge, then beat them until they do. One good smack up side the head, should produce an ID or badge if one exists. If nothing produced, then assume BLM or Antifa and beat them some more.
They may arrest individual truckers, but they've got nobody to move them.
They're hoping on intimidation but they don't have the numbers to arrest all protesters.
