According to Legistorm, he has 224 staff members. However, aides for any relevant committees, leadership offices, campaign committees and leadership PACs will not be included here, nor do we have data for unpaid staff such as interns or people who are “detailed” from the GAO, executive branch or private sector.

But that’s as far as I can find, any reference of color among the displayed staff has either been acided or he isn’t saying. But if his staff, since color counts, is higher than 14% black, the number is misrepresented as excessive to the representation of the census.

Senator Strom Thurmond was one of the first to have blacks working in his senate office, liberals hate that. Even Ted Kennedy was slow to do that.
