This is a rumor and appears unconfirmed. I do find it disturbing that this attempt to silence a fellow citizen is even being made. We need to find a way to 'cancel cancel culture' so to speak. I don't listen to Joe Rogan myself but I wish to defend his right to have a voice and for others to listen to that voice if they so wish.
I prefer flak.
Both Pandora and Spotify have levels of service — free with ads and paid premium with no ads.
Dave and i are the same age. We went to the same HS. I went to some of his early jams during Highschool, we ended up at the same parties and I had a few classes with him. He is an amazing dude.
I am wondering if this is a hoax. He has always been on the side of free speech. So to me this makes no sense.
It most likely is.
But right now, every artist that continues to appear on Spotify is getting hammered on Twitter by a small but very vocal angry mob demanding that they pull their music.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out.
FTR, I just subscribed to Spotify Premium and Joe Rogan's podcast. I probably won't use the service much (I love Apple Music) but I wanted to put some skin in the game.

For me Joe’s shows are too long. I rely on clips and friends to point me to things of interest. I like him and some of his guests. But I got things to do.
I don’t subscribe to pretty much any music site. Was burned with Napster. Now I just have physical and which is burned into flak. I run it with out internet connection on my musicolet app.
My guess is that is as true as the rumor that Barry Manilow removed his music from Spotify. Libs don’t think fellow libiots are too bright.

Slightly old fart chiming in. I’ve never heard of Joe Rogan or the Foo Fighters before the Spotify dust-up. I’ve heard of Spotify, but they aren’t in my bookmarks.....
