I had read on another thread (can’t remember which, shoulda bookmarked) that the Embassy was destroying ‘sensitive materials’, fearing they’d lose control of the Embassy.
But I’ll tell you this: it ain’t the Ukrainians they’re worried about.
Imagine a whole mess of Spetnatz parachuting straight into the Embassy compound. The Marines, good as they are, would be overwhelmed. Just sayin’.
I actually predicted this - shelter in place.
Every government, not just ours, is responsible for the safety of its citizens, if at all possible.......................
