An elderly nurse who was badly injured after being attacked at a Los Angeles transit bus stop has died of her injuries at a hospital where she worked for 38 years, her employer announced on Sunday.
Sandra Shells, 70, was attacked by a homeless man at about 5.15 a.m. on Thursday near Vignes Street and Cesar Chavez Avenue, half a mile away from Union Station, while she was waiting to catch a bus to her job at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Tragically, she succumbed to her injuries at the same medical facility on Sunday.

They’re pulling out all the stops on this story to not put out any pictures of the victim or the perpetrator.

Yes, I couldn’t find a picture of her when I posted this, or I’d have surely posted it. This happened four days ago. Also of note this is a British news source. The Mail is often the only source for these stories. Our media won’t touch them.
Trash needs to be taken off the streets.
The “homeless” are a cash cow for the politicians.
The voters want a solution so they don’t question the millions that are given to various groups to “solve” the problem that never gets solved.
I wonder just how much of the millions find it’s way back to the politicians either legally (campaign donation) or illegally (bribes, kick backs).
The best solution would be state run mental hospitals for those that can not take care of themselves and jail for those that are just petty criminals.
The worse solution would be the citizen saying enough is enough and become vigilante.
I would add a certain and swift execution for the crimes of rape and murder. We have cheapened life by making murder a mere felony.
They are happening all the time here, no one even bats an eye anymore its non stop..between that and the meth in the bushes, the crack pipes on the sidewalks, the hobos screaming at the top of their lungs while pissing on the street..the crime, it will never end because the commies love it too much for it to end
