Rowling did what all the teachers, school boards, and unions wished they could do.
Rowling got a generation of children to voluntarily read her books, to wait in line to buy her books, to watch the movies based on her books, to dress up and cosplay the characters from her books.
Those children are grown up now, and they've known who she was since they were young. No amount of left-wing indoctrination is going to change the minds of the fans that grew up with her.
