However, we've all heard that line many times before so, as a result, healthy skepticism of yet another variant being hyped yet again has set in.

Xi himself seems to have some sort of health problem. Bad enough to not visit other countries nor even see foreign leaders who visit China. I know he used to be a very heavy smoker (common in China) but does anybody know what the health problem is?
