Yes, I warned against this but no one listens anymore.
My county did the mix and match with Pfizer and Moderna back around February when they ran out, said it was safe to get the Moderna for second injection and all of a sudden there were 800 “breakthroughs.” Then the county white washed the internet and fell silent. Deadly silent.
I spoke with a number of doctors and asked why. They said it swas dumb but some worked at the hospitals that were mixing them.
Fast forward to about three weeks ago when the next town over pharmacy tells me,
“You can get the mix and match.”
Me: “What’s that?”
Them:” J&J and Moderna booster.”
Me:”That was tried( see above) and that isn’t very wise.”
Them:* the pharmacist walked away from me and when I tried asking another question he ignored me.*
These people mean business. How did medicine become evil? How did pharmacists( some) become hostile?
How foolish is Newsom? Dumb? Evil? Both?
Please God, no.

There you go… you made me look it up and it turns out you’re right. The “both candidates from the same state” detail (Article 2, Paragraph 3 of the Constitution) has to do with who electors to the electoral college can vote for. If two residents of California were on the ticket as President and Vice President candidates the CALIFORNIA electors could not vote for both of them. Thanks for clarifying.
But there would apparently be nothing, under the 25th Amendment) that would preclude a President Harris (shudder & barf) from nominating another Californian as a replacement Veep and Congress confirming by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress.
