BIDEN COVER: TIME Magazine Blames ‘American Shoppers’ for Breaking Supply Chain
NewsBusters ^ | 11/5/2021 | Joseph Vazquez

Blame Americans! TIME magazine chose to blame the everyman to protect President Joe Biden from his disastrous economic policies and the supply chain shortages hampering the U.S. economy.

The liberal magazine was blunt in its absurd condescension in a story headlined, “How American Shoppers Broke the Supply Chain.” The story bleated how “America has long been gobbling up more goods from overseas than we send back, but in the past year, spending has gone bonkers.” The smear piece even had a subsection headlined, “Our buying habits are hurting the U.S. economy.” Of course, TIME mentioned nothing about how Biden and the Federal Reserve “squeezed the supply side with incentives not to work, restrictive mandates, and the promise of more regulation and higher taxes. The result is 5% inflation and supply-chain disruptions that CEOs say will stretch well into 2022 and maybe beyond,” as The Wall Street Journal editorial board noted Oct. 8. In fact, neither Biden nor the Federal Reserve appear anywhere in the TIME article.

Didn’t Kameltoe tell Americans weeks ago to get their Christmas shopping done early?

Yeah, you greedy consumerist-capitalists! You ruin everything for everyone!

I guess the Federal Government is going to have to step in and issue you the things that you will be allowed to consume.... Those of you who survive the Plannedemic Purge, that is..

You will own nothing and you WILL be happy (or else.)

I understand that California has banned all large trucks made before 2005 from operating in the state.

Close. All semis built before 2010 cannot pick up cargo. Also, no independent contractors - they are illegal.

There is a pattern here….

Quote: “We can’t drive our SUVs and, you know, eat as much as we want and keep our homes on, you know, 72 degrees at all times, whether we’re living in the desert or we’re living in the tundra, and then just expect every other country is going to say OK, you know, you guys go ahead keep on using 25 percent of the world’s energy, even though you only account for 3 percent of the population, and we’ll be fine. Don’t worry about us. That’s not leadership.” ~~ Barack Obama

Avg age of our Tru k drivers is 55. During the Pandemic, they continued to work even though bathrooms (imagine middle age men denied use of facilities) and restaurants (can’t go through drive in window with18 wheeler) were closed to them. Many have just had enough even without CA Reg.
Yesterday at Ft Worth Taylor and Martin auction , 2021 Peterbilt with avg 100,000 miles sold for 200,000+ not including 5% buyers fee. Trailers are going for more than new prices also. I’m still speechless

Gee, people were buying lots of stuff when President Trump was in office......there didn’t seem to be a supply problem then. It’s all because of Brandon Poopy-Pants.

headlined, “Our buying habits are hurting the U.S. economy.”

No matter how much Time tries to polish this turd, Biden's economic policies are responsible to the high inflation rates, the high unemployment rates, the slow economic growth rate, and the disdain foreign gov'ts hold the US...period.

Translation - “capitalism” has broken the supply chain.

Don’t believe it. We’ve been living under a trial run of communism for the past 2 years and this is exactly what it looks like.
