Heaven forbid that "kooks" — you know, the kind of people who watch Fox News — will run for school boards! That was the message from CNN Thursday morning. New Day had on supposed "moderate" Michael Smerconish to discuss Attorney General Merrick Garland's testimony on Wednesday before the Senate Judiciary Committee, and the memo he had sent to the FBI regarding reported threats of violence against school board members.
Twice, Smerconish fretted about who would replace school board members who resign because they have felt threatened or intimidated: "What I'm most worried about is that the people who will step forward will be the kind of kooks who come out at these meetings and make threatening comments...God help us in terms of who will be [their] replacements."

and you’ll do what ever you can to promote who ever is running against them...
“His memo explicitly states that there will be coordination with Justice’s National Security Division.”
Great catch, great point.
Maybe CNN can draft Jeffrey Toobin or Mike Avenatti or Andrew Cuomo to run for school board.
I hope I see a lawsuit coming on this one. CNN is not protected under the first amendment for making a false statement and are libel if Fox can prove the loss of one watcher or one sponsor due to the derogatory statement made.
The statement:
“Heaven forbid that “kooks” — you know, the kind of people who watch Fox News...” is slanderous and has a number court cases through tort claims that will cost CNN money if pushed by FOX.
I hope they do.

LOL: yup, no kooks there! Just the people we want to be guiding the ‘yuts’ of today! ;-)
CNN...Their 60,000 viewers all feel the same. Dembots.
Good. Worry 2/4.
24/7.
Michael Smerconish is a one-man Nazi beer hall meeting.
Several years ago, my parents retirement community was forced into the neighboring school district.
The school district figured it was a winning situation. Lot’s of property tax and no extra kids.
They forgot that retirement communities had something like an 85% voter turnout. At the next election all open seats on the school board were filled with “3Rs” candidates.
The remaining school board members got the county to “expel” the retirement community from the district.
I guess they figured the extra tax money wasn’t worth it if they’d have to start actually teaching the kids.
What a fag
Smerconish has been a tool for about a decade or more.
Local Philadelphia hack. Tried to position himself as a “moderate”.
Better a FOX kook than a CNN pedophilic monster.
A man trying to look intelligent.
It’s not enough for CNN the press has is uniformly corrupt and liberal... they want school boards the same...
Hey CNN - there’s a reason no one watches you...
