And why does the media keep calling it a “prop” gun. Damn it it was a real gun!
Just like plane accidents...always a chain of preceding F’ ups that culminate in the final calamity.
It was not a prop…it was a real gun. The media keeps calling it a prop gun which leads the ill-informed to think it was something other that a real gun.
Think about it:
An egotistically arrogant film Producer has a run-in with the Union, upon which he fires them all and brings in scabs.
The long arm of Vito Corleone engineers a particular *tragedy* to befall said film Producer. 
A corrupt Politician tries to embezzle Michael Corleone of tribute for the licensing and operation of a Casino.

Given that her husband is a Clinton lawyer, I’m starting to believe you are correct. He intended to kill her.
“Prop” in a movie sense, does not mean “fake” or “substitute”. It means a gun used in a simulation, like a movie. All articles used in movies are “props”.
My 14-year-old daughter knows more about firearms safety than this 24-year-old does. One job. She had one job. It was a revolver. How hard is it to count to six?

This all day long!! It’s the responsibility of the person handling the weapon to be aware of its condition.

Sums it up nicely. My wife and her friends were discussing this for a half hour last night. His emotions, his courage, his agony. The Union, and who else wax involved in it. I looked at them and said,”Alec Baldwin, on the set of a movie was handed a weapon. He didn’t check to see if the weapon was loaded. He fired the weapon and killed one and injured another.”
A. Because they’re trying to deflect the blame away from those [lefty hollywood elites] responsible.
BTW the person I would like to question first is the director who took the gun from the table and gave it to Baldwin; did the director get permission from the armourer to pick it up?
All the while thinking, “this’ll be so good!”
What were you expecting when you intentionally pulled the trigger?
Apparently Baldwin never had Eddie Eagle exposure.
The Assistant Director was the one who picked up the gun and gave it to Baldwin. Apparently there were complaints about his lack of attention to safety issues before. The Director was the one who got shot but survived.
Very dangerous and we were shocked that gun didn't go off. People are stupid.

She bears some responsibility, for sure. But Baldwin pointed the weapon at another human being. Baldwin pulled the trigger.
That’s on him and him alone.
