This week, a month after Joe Biden announced his COVID vaccine mandate on all business with 100 or more employees, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) submitted its proposed rule to the Office of Management and Budget for review.
The Labor Department stated, “The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has been working expeditiously to develop an emergency temporary standard that covers employers with 100 or more employees to ensure their workers are fully vaccinated or undergo weekly testing to protect employees from the spread of coronavirus in the workplace.”
A “feature” of the new OSHA rule will require employers to give paid time off for their employees to get the COVID vaccine and for recovery if needed. Those companies caught not complying would face “substantial fines” upwards of $14,000 per violation.
It will be interesting to see how the new OSHA regulation will handle another issue — thus far only one of the vaccines, the Pfizer/BioNTech version, has received FDA approval. Will employees who have already received the Moderna or Johnson&Johnson vaccines still be considered in compliance under OSHA’s rule despite the fact that neither has received FDA approval?
Meanwhile, 24 states’ Republican attorneys general have been waiting for OSHA to produce the finalized rule so they can follow through on their threat to sue the Biden administration over this “disastrous and counterproductive” mandate. Biden lectured when announcing his mandate, “We’ve been patient, but our patience is wearing thin.” Yeah, well, the feeling is mutual.
The final observation is the fact that many individuals have decided not to get a COVID vaccine because they have already contracted and recovered from the coronavirus and therefore have natural immunity. Nevertheless, because the Biden administration, companies, and other entities are still ignoring the science of natural immunity, these employees will be ostracized and forced out of their jobs. Indeed, a record 4.3 million workers recently quit their jobs, often because of such mandates. As we noted earlier this week, that has affected everything from police departments to airline flights.
In Boston, 812 city employees — equivalent to 4% of the city’s workforce — were just suspended without pay for failure to meet the city’s vaccine mandate. Now, thanks to Biden’s COVID vaccine mandate, what’s happening in Boston will be repeated across the entire country. Let’s go, Brandon.
I’m not sure how OSHA could justify applying this rule to fully remote employees. Rumor has it that they won’t be, but we’ll just have to see, I guess.

This is just comical and ridiculous. I expect even our pro vax FR team see that we are way out of our minds. Experimental treatment takes understanding and agreement. We are now demanding people agree under threat of punishment that people submit to this experiment. EUA is an experimental treatment. I don’t care where you stand on the vax but our neighbors will need help because they will be deplatformed from life. Support your family/friends/neighbor on this.
I could never have thought this would be the ploy. If I wrote a book 24 months ago people would have laughed at it as unbelievable.

Well gee Wally, that sounds an awful lot like recovery time for the vax. Sure, we'll give you some time off to recover from your myocardits and fedgov is even going to make us pay you for that time. We hope for a speedy recovery(or death).

Because the title of the article makes one think that the mandate has been published and is enforceable.
I notice that the OSHA rule gets submitted to the Office of Management and Budget — a creature of congress. Maybe that’s the fig leaf for legislative approval, or maybe it just needs to be ‘scored’ for economic costs. Either way this is a huge conceptual leap regarding OSHA authority.
It says to protect other employees...
They don’t need protection if you have overwhelming evidence of a cure. Millions of populations have gone back to normal and you now have the human observational studies to prove it.
The question is, what are you going to do with the info? Hope someone else does something for you?

Then every company in the country needs to lawyer up immediately. Sue their asses off. And sue. And sue. And sue. Stuff like this is a lawyer’s bread and butter.
If the mandate is “temporary,” then surely the text of the rule specifically discusses the conditions which transpire that will sunset the mandate. I wonder how we will know . . . .

Biden has no vaccine mandate. He’s only issued a press release that he is going to create one, but he hasn’t done it yet.
There’s going to be millions of frustrated good employees with a lot of time on their hands and a patriotic thoughts on their minds.

The first sentence implies there is a vaccine mandate. There isn’t one.
I hope 100% do.
I have two concerns about this point, one extremely compelling.
The first concern is why are the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines still being administered under the Emergency Use Authorization when the FDA itself says:

Taking into consideration input from the FDA, manufacturers decide whether and when to submit an EUA request to FDA.
Secondly, and more importantly, the EUA vaccines require a patient informed consent form to be signed. United States case law says that any consent given under duress is not consent under the law.
It seems to me that forcing someone to get a vaccine or lose their jobs, their pay, and their family security, is the utmost coercive duress possible on someone.
Nobody can give a legally binding consent under these conditions, and for that reason these mandates to take the EUA vaccines should be challenged in court.

The fda approved a Pfizer "vaccine", supposedly, similar to the one in use here, but it's not the same one.
