If you mean in our justice system, that's not true. There are many plane-jacker muslims who have been convicted and serving big time in our prison system. Even the punk rowdy violent American a-holes get convicted, although not all. It's the one thing that all Americans agree on no matter political leanings. NO MORE PLANES GOING INTO BUILDINGS OR THE GROUND.

Loss of cabin pressure at 30000, would work at 3000 with same success rate. Should be a part of routine safety measures and incorporated into pre-flight routine demonstrated by the flight crew.

Myth: Explosive decompression can occur when a bullet is fired through the fuselage of a pressurized airplane, causing the hole to grow dramatically and possibly cause the plane to break up as seen in movies.
Myth Busted: (From 'Mythbusters' episodes 10 and 38) The pressure is not high enough and the hole is too small. Explosive decompression only occurred when a hole the size of a window was made with explosives. Even then, the rush of air could not suck Buster completely out of the hole. Lastly, there are proven instances of explosive decompression where the plane was still able to maintain control and land.
