I am requesting prayer. My beloved wife, the love of my life, passed away in the wee hours of Thursday morning. Everything feels empty right now. She was the most inspiring person I ever met, and people say our names as if it's one word, one person.
You are facing the the hardest challenge a married person has to meet. Of course we will all pray for the Lord to give you courage and peace through this long night. It never stops hurting, but you learn how to go on living because you must.
Lord, gather this man in your arms and hold him close and comfort him. Thank you, Lord, for what you will do.
Prayers for your comfort and peace.
I have loved my woman for over 30 years. I can’t imagine life without her. I think I understand your pain. God bless you FRiend.
My condolences for your loss. May God grant you peace and comfort in Jesus’ name.
TBP... I can so relate.
I lost my dear husband August 23rd and it is so very difficult right now. We were married 62 years.
I am praying for you.
Polly
AMEN Quality.... God has provided for me also.
We are to have our memorial on October 23rd and that is what is stressing me more than anything right now as I am worn out still from caregiving for the past three years.
Prayers up for you and your family.
Look up the Sullivan Baleau
Death letter written in the civil war. Perhaps you can find some comfort there.

My sincere condolences at the loss of your beloved. My sister passed a few weeks ago and her husband has had some really rough moments at 56 years of marriage to the woman of his dreams. Had a simple yet Elegant Memorial service.
Trusting the Lord to bare the deepest part of your sorrow as you take it to Him. For “He bore our grief and sorrows”.
Heavenly Father God,
We bring to you the heart and mind of TBP as he suffers the temporary loss of his beloved who he’ll one day see again. Though his life will change as he evidences now we know that all things work toward the good even when we can’t imagine it. Therefore we pray TBP’S steps will be strengthened and secure as he walks this walk of sorrow....knowing that you yourself are well acquainted with all that He feels.
In Jesus Name...for His Glory,
Amen
October 14 would be our anniversary. We’re thinking that might be a nice day to have a memorial service.
Sorry to hear that, Polly. I shall pray for you also.
Praying for you and yours as well as your beloved. I am so sorry for your loss. Keep your faith and you will be reunited again. God Bless.
My condolences. Prayers for you and your family.
Sounds like a wonderful idea for a Memorial Service.
For my sister they had slides playing on each side of the room of her life. Though some flowers from family, there’s an organization that plants trees throughout the US in remembrance of those who have passed which many did. Or they gave to the Hospice organization.
She was cremated and the urn is duel....they will keep her urn stored until her husband passes then they’ll be buried together in the same urn.
I’ve been praying for you and your family that the “God of all comfort” envelopes you in comfort, in peace, in strength and the grace to endure this tremendous loss of your dear wife. This present time on earth is but a passing moment compared to the eternity you will share together in the arms of our blessed Heavenly Father.
That is heartbreaking. I am so sorry for your loss.
