Thanks for this post.
Some FR IDIOT told me I should call child protective services to have my daughter’s (nonexistent) children take from her because she took the vax in order to get into Hawaii where she and her husband of 30 years are going to celebrate their anniversary.
Can’t fix stupid and apparently can’t fix nasty.
I am sorry someone said this to you.
I want all views and all articles available here.
The intolerance is very disturbing.
And I fear it will get worse before it gets better. On both sides...
Tho I will re-iterate that in past 24 hours, it was the pro-vaccine crowd who were talking about the Small Pox squads going through neighborhoods and “laughing” at anti-vaxxers “croaking.”
MHO it crosses the line...
And I shocked that even the pro-vax crowd don’t seem to get the idea that this is NOT GOING TO END WITH ENDLESS VACCINES...WE ARE OFF TO THE RACES ON PASSPORTS WHICH WILL COVER EVERY FRIGGIN THING WE DO.
‘...and apparently can’t fix nasty. ‘
FreeRepublic is a melting pot of conservatives. That’s what makes us FREE, although Jim Robinson probably didn’t intend it to be so in fruition.
What’s interesting is the ‘nasty’ part. We are an angry folk, passive aggressive, eating our own Freepers because we don’t like someone’s views across the board.
I am looking for my Flame suit. I’ve gained weight since last time I donned it.
People used to sacrifice their children to the demon/god Moloch. Now they’re sacrificing their children to the god of cruises and vacations. (But it’s so worth it!)
Can’t fix selfish. Apparently.
“...apparently can’t fix nasty.”
You can... but the means depends on proximity.
Mano a mano, an old-fashioned knuckle sandwich with extra sauce was curative. OFTEN works to reboot some bullyish person’s worldview. I’ve seen nasty people be all apologetic and collegial afterward; like the impact knocked a computer virus outta their brain.
At great distances...
I particularly liked Reagan’s finesse with former Libyan nasty man, Muammar Gaddafi; that cruise missile in his living room clapped his trap for good.
Point being: distance changes the means, but where there’s a will, there’s a way.
