So, I’m 66 and took 166mg of the flush Niacin and 7mg of melatonin when I tried it a few days ago. Too much Niacin and too little melatonin? That seems like a lot of melatonin. :-)
Even so, my flushing wasn’t terrible. I knew what to expect and didn’t panic. Nothing but a burning feeling in my skin all over and started really dropping off after 30 minutes. Gone in a hour. No vision or BP problems.
Those are some weird numbers. LOL. That still sounds like a pretty comprehensive flush. I'd say go to 20M/200N and see what happens. That ought to be pretty close to your sweet spot. The newest methods (especially among older folks) is if you flush add some melatonin (like 10mg) when you feel it. But remember to use that "updose" in your next calculation. For instance if you do 20M/200N and flush, then add 10M to that, next time start with 30M/200N. If that's the sweet spot, double that dose. Rinse and repeat until you get to target dose.
Over in the Quilting Bee you were talking about Zinc and Quercetin. You’ll need to drop those once you get into the NIATONIN protocol. Zinc supplementation will screw up your copper balance and quercetin interferes with niacin. Any others need to be 3 hrs removed from NIATONIN dosing.
