CornPop ordered the complete and total evacuation of Bagram Air Field in the middle of the night and didn’t have the courtesy to let the Afghani’s know.
State Dept and DOD have two options: negotiate safe passage for American citizens with the Taliban, if possible, or send the military into the city to bring Americans back to the airport before the Taliban gangs find them.
Maybe Josh Rogan can grab a plate carrier, M4, some extra mags, commandeer a Humvee and go door to door looking for American’s. Maybe he can show the world how it’s done.
This is exactly what the Taliban want. American GIs wander the streets of the city they control. Everyone will die.
