The New York Supreme Court on Thursday sided with Project Veritas in its lawsuit against the New York Times.
Project Veritas will be permitted to depose the New York Times.
A motion for a stay was denied.
Project Veritas sued the New York Times for claiming their Minnesota ballot harvesting video was “deceptive.”
The New York Times tried to dismiss the case but the New York Supreme Court denied their motion, ruling terms “deceptive” and “disinformation” apply to the New York Times reporters’ actions and claims.
The Court blasted the Times in an opinion:

The New York Supreme Court is a trial court level in New York, not a high court in that state (which is the New York Court of Appeals). Normally articles would refer to rulings as being by a judge and with the Judge’s name - not referring to it as “The New York Supreme Court” as though that is a single entity.
Well, well WELL!
The Times should have surrendered the day they were served. They were cocky. The final number will have lots of zeroes.
Of course, I should have remembered what I learned in seventh grade: “the NY Supreme Court is not the highest court in the state of NY.” Thanks for reminding me.
The way this article is written didn’t help.
