A Marin County vaccine skeptic has joined a crowded field running to replace Gov. Gavin Newsom in next month’s recall election.
Holly Baade, a single mom, former Miss California, and yoga instructor at a shaman school in Fairfax, is running as a disenchanted Democrat.
Baade supported the Newsom recall from the beginning, but didn’t see any candidate she could support among the contenders.
“So I felt a little dispirited. I felt a sensation of disappointment,” Baade told the Marin Independent Journal days ago.
“Then all of a sudden in that same moment, I felt this welling up in my heart. My own heart told me in ways that hearts can whisper, something very soft but also strong, that I could run and that I should.”
Baade also expressed her opposition to the experimental genetic medication shots that are all the rage among liberal Californians.
“At this point the word vaccine is being used as a marketing tool to put what is clearly poison inside people’s bodies.”
“As the Governor, I will also limit the over-reach of state governmental administrative policy and law imposed on local county and townships. We must empower local regions, while at the same time working as an intelligent system to bring about a better quality of life for everyone.”
The 48-year-old single mother was happy when Arnold Schwarzenegger replaced Gov. Gray Davis in a 2003 recall, but can’t remember how she voted.
Baade, who is for universal basic income and against homelessness, was forced to shut her yoga studio down because of the California lockdowns.
So she formed a private member association, Mettacine, a “one-of-a-kind private oasis for the study and integral practice of Yoga, Spiritual Enlightenment and Transformative Healing Arts for the Harmonious Union and Empowerment of the Human Mind, Body, Soul and Spirit.”
Dozens have paid a nominal fee to join the PMA, akin to private drinking clubs from a legal standpoint. Baade also offers classes for members’ children.
“We’re interested as a community in creating a safe environment for our children to grow and to learn without being subjected to abusive practices that are being enforced by the state,” Baade told the Marin IJ.
Previous research has shown antivaxxers are equally and evenly on the left and the right.
Hi Teddy.
It’s interesting that you only post stuff from a single source.

Could it be that you are just here to PROMOTE that source, Teddy?
Got anything to say about that, Teddy boy?
Need further testimony.
