Does The New York Times ever get tired of pushing content that reeks of eco-extremism? Apparently not.
Times opinion columnist Farhad Manjoo published an absurd op-ed with a blaring headline, “Democrats Have a Year to Save the Planet.” His lede paragraph screeched that “[t]his could be the great turning point — an opportunity for the United States to finally take grand action to curb the worst effects of a climate barreling toward catastrophe.”

Oh well. I guess we’re all going to die. Time to break out the good bourbon.

Manjoo was sure to admit that.... “one reason addressing climate change is so difficult is that the threat is often too abstract and slow-moving to admit much urgency. ...so I'm going to lie about it to get your attention. The NYT has no scruples...anything to sell a paper.

"Farhad Manjoo"? Somehow I don't think his ancestors arrived on the Mayflower. In fact he doesn't even sound like he was born here, or that he is even an American. Maybe he should go back where he came from. ASAP.

How come dipwads like ‘Farhad Manjoo’ never address the single greatest polluter on the planet, the PRC?

If publishing an “opinion columnist” it is always good to pick one with zero scientific background.
To: Levy78
Oh yes, Manjoo’s pronoun is “they.” Please do not refer to them as he/him.
To: JV3MRC
Farhad Manjoo should kill himself so as to reduce the CO2 output.

Howz about some of our hackers getting busy and finding out exactly what kind of “science” background this writer has. Yes, I know, even folks with actual real STEM educations will still publish bunk because the only living to be made in climate research is with gubmit funding. And you know what one HAS to publish if they want that funding to continue.
