Since it collapsed so early in the morning, everyone was likely home and in bed.
If it had happened during the day, the death toll would likely be a lot lower as people would have been out at work or shopping or something.

Why does the CCTV video start after the first section is already collapsing? I would expect to see about 5-10 seconds of quiet before the collapse but they only show after the event begins...

The known dead is now at 4, and the unaccounted for people is up to 159.

4 removed from rubble alive.
4 found dead.
159 still missing.
35 were rescued from the still standing part of the building.
So far around 100 people thought missing are now accounted for.

They showed the building and you can see a kids bedroom with bunk beds next to where the building gave way... 4 people are dead now.
