Is it possible that a car crashed into one of those columns as it was racing through the parking area?

That whole stretch is lined with Soviet style high rise sardine tins. No thanks for that urban human warehouse nightmare.

Hitting one load-bearing support column shouldn't bring a building down. For this to happen other load-bearing parts of the structure would have failed unless the building design was flawed.

One column? I would say not. From the video it looks a lot like the Controlled Demolition Inc. videos we’ve probably all seen.

A whole lot of interior columns would have to go in sequence. And it takes weeks to prep.
