The vicious cycle is ever repeating. Palestinian or Hezbollah attack Israeli civilians, Israel goes after the operatives and their tools.. it tries to avoid hitting non combatants, not always successful, as the only party interested in 'dead babies' are exactly those who make sure it happens. Each and every time.
As it is mostly tough, technically, to show a clear photo whe de exactly the Hamas, Hezbollah or P.I.Jihad guy was standing prior to being eliminated, or the place how it served the terrorists. But a 'dead' or and any bloodied body, is always powerful prey by those bloodthirsty leaders. It's the greatest recruitment plus the demonization of Israel. It shocks, it enrages. It's what they 'live' off, literally. Financially too.
What if leading media outlets, especially TV stations would stop showing graphic photos? Try it. You will see a drop in Arab dead bodies.
Of course it's nearly impossible, unless Hamas's friends, the Qataris Al Jazeera for example would be embarrassed facing a collective western media blackout. We are not talking about avoiding reporting the news. But a specific temporary ban on shocking images.
Ever notice how little Palestinian or Hamas kids are not killed by Isreal when their fathers are not bombing Isreal? Seems like a simple solution to me.

The way this ends in a good way for Israel is when they stop caring about collateral damage and actually flattens all of Gaza.

How about Israel targets these scumbags regardless of who is around them. The human shields would soon figure out to stay away and the bad guys would figure out its not going to protect them any more. Make the enemy learn if you attack Israel, you die.
I like the obvious reading of Articles 28 and 29 of the Fourth Geneva Convention. The Hamas were responsible for any civilian deaths in the buildings IDF bombed. Those civilians qualified as Protected Persons within the enemy’s physical control and could not be used to render certain points and areas immune from military operations.
This manifest understanding of the international community is never mentioned by anyone now. It is time Israel at least insisted on this reality.
I doubt Hamas and other terrorists are signatories. (Actually, I know they are not.) I'm not sure what that means to Israel as a signatory. However, from an ethical standpoint, Israel should have no problem trading missile for missile, regardless of where Israel's missiles would land.

They feign care I believe. Those ardent adherents to Islam believe their children to be martyrs under such circumstances. Those not so persuaded need to stand up and be counted.
