------------------It is a totally reasonable position for young healthy people to feel that the potential long term risks of an emergency vaccine outweigh the risks of getting COVID https://t.co/TQl52CcCzR— Amber Athey (@amber_athey) April 27, 2021
Spotify’s Joe Rogan encourages "healthy" young people not to get a coronavirus vaccine. His show is Spotify's most popular podcast.
“If you're like 21 years old, and you say to me, should I get vaccinated? I'll go no.” pic.twitter.com/5dX98xUaHS— Alex Paterson (@AlexPattyy) April 27, 2021

Good.
“If you’re healthy person, and you’re exercising all the time, and you’re young and you’re eating well, I don’t think you need to worry about this.” - Joe Rogan
Rogan came up as a member of the entertainment industry, leftwad tribe. He has a lot of stuff right, but in other areas he’s as wrong as Pelousy or Schumer.
I think he finds the thought of breaking with the leftwad tribe too frightening.
And we care about his advice because?
Healthy and young? Sure, why not.
But they should plan to attend COVID-19 parties to do their part for herd immunity. That will also prime their systems should they encounter similar Coronaviruses in the future.
BURN THE HERETIC!!!
Thou has defied the great Fauci.
>> But they should plan to attend COVID-19 parties to do their part for herd immunity
Sarcasm? Regardless, the Mask-Holes wouldn’t allow it.
Not sarcasm at all. I’m all for herd immunity ACHIEVED QUICKLY!
I’m generally pro-vax.
But the young have little to fear from the disease.
As far as “herd immunity” goes they are no more significant than the animals around us- who aren’t being vaccinated.
Becase Joe Rogan is perhaps the most listened to, influential, and normal interviewer/podcaster today. He is a sort of libertarian Bernie guy - far from perfect (see below from wiki) - who has red-pilled many Millenials (as well as GenZers and older folks). He moved from California for Texas last year, bashing California and with great fanfare on the way out.
Again, Rogan isn't easy to label. He has described himself as socially liberal, supporting same-sex marriage, gay rights, women's rights, recreational drug use, universal health care, and universal basic income, but also supports gun rights and the Second Amendment. Rogan is also a strong supporter of freedom of speech, and has criticized cancel culture and what he perceives to be suppression of those who hold right-wing views in the television and film industry. He has also criticized American foreign policy of military adventurism.
After Sanders dropped out of the race, Rogan said he would "rather vote for Trump than Biden" adding that “I don’t think [Biden] can handle anything." He claimed that he was concerned that Biden, who turned 78 shortly after Election Day, lacked the cognitive ability needed to run the United States and would not be able to handle the pressure of the presidency. Rogan criticized Biden for his verbal slip-ups, which he described as "not a normal way to communicate, unless you're high".
Rogan has stated "Biden, to me, is like having a flashlight with a dying battery and going for a long hike in the woods, it is not going to work out. It's not going to make it." (That might be the best description of Bidet ever.)
I'd welcome him to my barbecue any day.
“He has described himself as socially liberal, supporting same-sex marriage, gay rights, women’s rights, recreational drug use, universal health care, and universal basic income...”
In other words, just another godless twit that I can ignore.
Appreciate the post, but I’m done with folks who claim 2nd Amendment rights and allow the infection of other socially cancerous ideas into our mix.
This is exactly how we got to where we are as a modern society in America. A little poison destroys it all.
I love Rogan- been listening to him for years. I like people who are individuals- think independently- ask questions and find their own answers. Joe isn’t status quo. He’s not really a political guy- but has fascinating guests and his show is funny and informative. He’s more interested in learning than preaching.
+1
Obsessed! ;D
Trump was considered a Manhattan RINO who was pro-abortion, pro-gay rights, and mildly pro-gun. Cruz had better conservative credentials. Cruz beat Trump senselessly with those credentials and rode them to the White House. Oh wait.
I submit that the application of an impossible-to-meet litmus test would have given us President Hillary. Only He is perfect. The rest of us are sinners. I get your point - maybe social issues are your "deal-killer" - but giving a nod to less-than-perfect fellow travelers can be fruitful if their net benefit is positive.
He was one of the first who said he wont vote for Pedo Joe and has no problem with Trump. He’s a little muzzled by his million dollar contract with lefty Spotify but he still manages to say stuff not aligned with their lefty ideals.
That was also in my previous post. He’s more libertarian than lefty and quite true on his actual feelings about Pedo Joe. Also tried getting the interview with Alex Jones, which was AGAINST Spotify’s wishes, who just gave him a multi-million dollar contract.
I loved him on News Radio. He’s a zillion times better than any late night talk show (yea...I am setting the bar real high there...) and I find him easier to take than some righties. He’s a force for good.
