This is raw politics. I can’t stand the Dems but admire how they play to win. “Our side” never does that. Nobody fights for us.

The AG needs to step in with an investigation of possible intimidation of that judge. The new guy needs to be interrogated for conspiracy. This isn’t NY or DC where they can pull this crap.
And if the new judge is ex-Perkins Coie, then why isn’t he recusing? Thought that was the firm representing the Rats. Would be outright collusion in that case.
