The idiot also said in his tweet above, "An unchecked fire doubles in size every minute". That is false. How quickly a fire spreads depends on the material (fuel) aflame and the amount of access to oxygen.

Maybe he was using that as metaphor. Either way, his factual statement about fire is untrue. I'm sure there are some Firemen here who would support my claim about fuel and oxygen. I have experiences in fire-fighting - both brush and ship board.
