It's on: How Tucker Carlson redrew the battle lines
Thoughts from the 42nd Parallel ^ | 04-07-2021 | Tom Shattuck

Posted on 04/07/2021 1:00:08 PM PDT by calvincaspian

The other night, Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson arrived at Tucker Carlson’s house, Edible Arrangement in hand, looking forward to a friendly visit.

Moments later, Carlson brutally murdered him. It was quite a scene.

As bits of cantaloupe and Asa’s DNA dripped down the walls it was clear that the affable, Southern statesman was sacrificed for the edification of conservatives who wander as refugees in a dark and surreal 2021, so violently beset by bizarre and retrogressive messaging and actions that they’re not sure which way is up.

Carlson set them straight.

I predict that 10-20 years from now the majority of these children will sue their parents - and win. As long as it doesn’t come out of my pocket...good.

...to me it all seemed to really start when SJWs went after his family at their home, and rather than receding he went war-mode.

White liberal 'elite' thugs (antifa) went after his wife and kids when he wasn't home... Tucker's wife was terrified. Of course the democrat butt boys and bimbos of the Washington Post and New York Times didn't give a damn... or bother to cover it.

“It seems Hutchinson is trying to claim that the bill hurts parents control of their children’s health care, and sanctity of patient-doctor relationship and inserts government into this role”

A parent and doctor agreeing to mutilate a kid is not a right they possess. There is no “sanctity” in that. Also, as Tucker pointed out, Asa has no problem regulating underage drinking or sex.

So according to Asa, the state can regulate and prohibit a minor’s use of their genitalia, but feels it needs to stand aside respectfully when they decide to chop them off.

And it was obvious Asa lied that no corporate entities weighed in on the issue. he said “No corporations spoke to me about it”. Of course they didn’t, they spoke to their staff who then spoke to him.

You have to learn to read political doublespeak.

Tucker doesn't play the part, he's the real deal.

I used to watch and/or record Special Report every week night. I have not watched it since November 3 when Bret Baier called Arizona for Biden with a ridiculously low percentage of the vote in. The only show I watch on FOX now is Tucker Carlson, although I rarely watched it before. It was amazing watching him handle Asa Hutchinson last night who was trying to defend an indefensible position!

Governor Asa Hutchinson is a lying a-hole. I don't believe that even the idiotic Hutchinson cannot remember any number of news stories detailing incidents where government agencies, judges, and doctors have taken parents to court to force them to mutilate their children against their wishes.

The GOP is becoming a byword for weakness, betrayal, and stupidity.

It seems Hutchinson is trying to claim that the bill hurts parents control of their children’s health care, and sanctity of patient-doctor relationship and inserts government into this role.

A liberal-minded parent can find any number of liberal psychologists or psychiatrists who will support chemical or physical castration of youngsters. At the age when they dress-up as the opposite sex, they either have felt they are the wrong sex or have already been traumatized by a "supportive" parent who believes pre-pubescent Johnny should be a Jenny. In no way should society let this be condoned - a decision like this is irreversible and a child who demands it needs counseling with notice that the choice is not available for a child and he/she must wait until the age of 18 is reached.

Hutchinson’s play was as Javelin catcher.

He wouldn’t have vetoed it if there wasn’t the guarantee of an over-ride. That way, Hutchinson has cover, and runs cover for the legislature

It is typical political back-scratching.

Was Hutchinson responding to pressure from Walmart? Something must have motivated him to adopt his ridiculous position. I don’t think it was conservatism. Maybe he was looking for a job after he leaves office

Anyone else remember when Tucker wore that cute little bow tie all the time! Asa Hutchison is a very conservative governor, Tucker is sometimes over the top, of course for ratings!

Blogger Ace of Spades vs. Hutchinson re: Tucker

https://ace.mu.nu/asa_hutchinson_told_tucker_carlson_that_no_corporate_interests_had_contacted_him_about_the_trans-children_bill._but_on_march_31st_he_told_fox_that_

While it remains unclear whether the Walton family personally lobbied Hutchinson on the bill -- neither Hutchinson’s office nor the WFF returned requests for comment -- the two have ties. Per FEC records, the Waltons are longtime financial supporters of Hutchinson’s political career, as is Walmart. Sam Walton’s brother, Steuart Walton, is a current board member at Walmart and was tapped by Hutchinson last April to chair the state’s "Economic Recovery Task Force.”

How did Hutchinson know there was corporate worry about the image of Arkansas about these bills if no one from any corporate interests contacted him about them?

The idea that Tom Walton has such passionate feelings about the sexual autonomy of children, and yet wouldn't call up his family's pet governor to make these Frenchian passions known, is too absurd to credit as possible.

He's lying. He told corporate interests that he would triangulate on these bills by signing two of them but vetoing the third.

May be. But that does not take away the fact that Tucker
sliced and diced him. If Asa likes to be abused, Tucker gave
it to him.

You mean this “Conservative Asa”?

https://www.cnn.com/2021/02/21/politics/asa-hutchinson-trump-reelection-2024-cnntv/index.html

Let me break it down for you in simple terms.
Asa said he would not back Trump in 2024

You said Asa is very conservative.
What “conservative” would not back Trump in 2024, nitwit?
