Off-load onto smaller container ships until it floats.

I believe right now, due to insurance liability issues, crews aren’t supposed to carry guns to defend themselves against marauders. They’re just supposed to do as they’re told by their captors. My nephew is at sea a lot, sometimes off the east coast of Africa. They carry armed security teams in order to deal with pirates.

just unload the cargo to other ships.. it will float higher in the water and be free.
To: Glennb51
Off-load onto smaller container ships until it floats. And stream the opening up of the offloaded containers.

Sounds like an interesting job. Do they take grumpy old men?

But what if you don’t want people to see what that cargo consists of?

I bet eventually they will have to pain stakingly have to start offloading cargo into other ships to be able to deal with it. What a mess.

As such, governments should consider absolving crews of liability for killing pirates in action. I believe right now, due to insurance liability issues, crews aren’t supposed to carry guns to defend themselves against marauders. They’re just supposed to do as they’re told by their captors.

That’s a crazy policy. These ships can be upwards of 1,000 feet long, the size of a large building, and they don’t want the crews armed?

The wind absolutely did this. In my opinion, these ships are too big for the infrastructure. That includes ports & rail lines.
The sail area (the profile upon which the wind acts) on that ship is incredible.
They have put all their eggs in a basket that doesn’t fit out of the hen house.
To: CheshireTheCat
Would seem you could hook a ship of about the same size onto it and drag it back into the channel...
