Her Stupendosity, Empress Whitmer is actually relaxing restrictions: she needs a distraction from some of her misdeeds.

Sure, some states will be the last ones to do it, but one by one, each and every one will be shamed into pulling away the restrictions - if only to survive.

All the red states just needed someone with courage to start it.

***************

You touch on a much larger issue here: COURAGE in the face of oppression. Its something we need to do on a larger scale.

Not until we start confronting the Dems on a variety of issues will they respect or fear us. Like bullies everywhere, they will back off when someone stands up to them.

We must be more aggressive in asserting ourselves and our beliefs. Being nice often means being a loser. Its time for conservatives to toughen up and demonstrate firmness, resolve and courage. We need to put THEM on defense for a change. Nothing will change until we do.

Problem is corporate and even many local businesses are afraid and still insist

My county in Tennessee lifted it....but most business still have it

I don’t think hospitals especially emergency rooms will ever lift it

At the Italian Restaurant my wife and I go to all the time, the owner has a big sign on the door saying 100% occupancy, Masks optional

She’s had a few customers ask that waitresses put on n km asks to serve them and her response is, no problem so long as the customer puts their mask back on the entire time except when eating, the customer usually backs down

This linear thinking about covid -- placing "control of the virus" above all other considerations -- must stop.

When the virus first hit last March, it made perfect sense to do this as we did not understand the virus or how it spread; we didn't know how to prevent it or even treat it effectively; we didn't have a vaccine, etc., etc. But that was a year ago and this is what medical experts said we must do ... it made perfect sense to follow their advice. It made perfect sense to be scared what with the predictions -- later determined to be bogus -- of the deaths of millions of Americans.

But it's a year later. We understand the virus. We have preventive measures in place (although they are often and unneccessarily taken to the extreme). We know how to treat it if someone gets sick. We have a vaccine for anyone who wants it (and even for some who don't want it!).

So the linear thinking must stop -- and stop quickly as it has in Florida and Texas and Mississippi -- lest we lose even more of what took over two centuries to build in America. We can no longer afford to place virus concerns above everything else. That's what experts do and their opinions and recommendations should be considered seriously. Taken seriously, but not to the exclusion of everything else which is why our biggest mistake from the beginning, which continues to today, was to place experts in charge of public policy.

We see clearly the results of this grievous error in judgment. Linear thinking has caused the near collapse of our economy. Linear thinking has caused serious and far-reaching damage to our society and to our quality of life. Linear thinking has taken a full year of childhood -- of education and of learning to function within a civil society -- from our children. And linear thinking has crushed -- literally destroyed -- the hopes and dreams of tens of millions of people ... of American citizens who deserve far better from their politicians and others who we have placed in positions of power and authority.

Linear thinking -- a practice which excludes all other considerations except the virus -- must stop. It is dangerous, it is destructive and it causes serious -- even deadly -- harm to the men, women and children of America.

And I have no problem with this. A private business is just that PRIVATE. If they say where a mask I can CHOOSE (gotta love that freedom thang) to still go in or take my business elsewhere.

Pedo joe says it’s knee-ander-thal thinkin’. What tactic will they employ next to skerr the natives? Solar eclipse?

REP. Waltz said on “Fox & Friends” that Biden’s comments showed typical Washington, D.C. “liberal elitism” where politicians “pretend” to have the right answers.

REP. WALTZ: “Let me tell you what Neanderthal thinking is, Neanderthal thinking is keeping our schools closed, letting our kids fall further and further behind.

Maybe Neanderthal thinking is letting restaurants put people in tents while they’re sitting outside but they can’t let them inside or not putting seniors first when it comes to our vaccines ...

What Neanderthal thought it was a good idea to allow infected seniors back into nursing homes when it was clearly the most exposed and vulnerable population?

This was not as Rational as linear thinking

This was part of a multi faceted approach to try to destroy Trump

We had this Covid crap and destroy the economy

We had George Floyd and riots riots riots racism racism racism

Ie trumps a racist

We had impeachment we had scandal investigations ABCD. E and F

And of course none of that worked because our great and wonderful president Donald J Trump is incredible and had these wonderful rallies were tens of thousands of people would show up and he would speak the truth directly to the people

So they had to resort to complete utter fraud mail in ballots dominion machines shutting down the accounting for five days putting up boards on the windows bringing in truckloads of manufactured ballots in the middle of the night and then said

OK we won! Six days later

And of course all the media chimed in

Biden is the president Biden is the president Biden is the president

Well the position that no fraud occurred and it was all on the up and up is not attainable possession over the long term

In Arizona the state legislature is finally getting the ballots and Joe Van Pulitzer is going to look at them

The supreme court of corresponded on all the very well put together constitutional issues with regards to election fraud

And so now it’s up to the states and the state legislatures to show courage and to uncover all the shenanigans they were going on we have plenty of time now there’s no rush

Oh and fraud vitiates everything!!
