Martha: You know, what is your big picture look at this? These six books that have been banned. When you go through the images and I’ll put a couple up to look at, some people find them offensive. Stereotypical.
Leo Terrell: I come from this as a public school teacher that read those books as a student, a young boy that read those books. As a civil rights attorney. The images reflect the time in which the books were written, in the 20s and the 30s. I am not offended by those pictures because it talks about the evolution of this country and how we are now. What those books reflected was a sign of the times. You cannot ignore history. You cannot eliminate history. There’s worst pictures than that. But taking in context, those that want to cancel these books, those that think those books are racist, show me the media harm to victims today, Martha. They can’t. They use the argument of racist as a gimmick, a talking point to basically cancel people out. I think it’s wrong as a teacher, I think it’s wrong as a lawyer because unconstitutionally that is telling people that they can’t read certain books in libraries and if the government imposed these restrictions, it’s horrific. We cannot eliminate our history. Some history is bad but the majority is great. Both sides need to be taught.
HOORAY Leo
I thought that was their whole goal............if you wipe out history then people can not learn from it or call out the left on it
It doesn’t deny history, it rewrites it. Communists have been doing it for the last 100 years. It’s a tradition of the Left. What good is God’s truth when the devil’s lies are so much better?
Cancel cancer
Leo will now be cancelled.
I like him. he reminds me of the late Joe tex. I gotcha!
probably. I used to dislike Leo lots but he came around...albiet late to the party.
Hold on to old history books and dictionaries.
I would think it would help history to keep DVDs of old movies showing how times were in free, Constitutional USA
“The Black Book of Communism, a scholarly accounting of communism’s crimes, counts about 94 million murdered by the supposed champions of the common man (20 million for the Soviets alone [65+ million for communist China under Mao Zedong]), and some say that number is too low.”

“[Patrisse] Cullors [CO-FOUNDER “BLACK LIVES MATTER”] weaves her intellectual influences into this narrative, from black feminist writers like Audre Lorde and bell hooks, to Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin and Mao Zedong.
Reading those social philosophers “provided a new understanding around what our economies could look like,” she says.

Profile: Mao Zedong (aka Mao tse-Tung)
“Mao Zedong was the Chairman of the Chinese Communist Party from 1949 until his death in 1976.
Mao is arguably the greatest mass murderer in history, eclipsing even the murderous Joesph Stalin in this regard.
Some 70 million Chinese, along with countless Tibetans, Mongolians, Manchus, Koreans, Hmong, Uyghurs, and other nationalities, perished at his hands during his long and brutal reign.”

Undercover agent Larry Grathwohl discusses the 1960-70s Weather Underground’s post-revolution governing plans for the United States...
Larry Grathwohl:
“I asked, ‘well what is going to happen to those people we can’t reeducate, that are diehard capitalists?’ and the reply was that they’d have to be eliminated.
And when I pursued this further, they estimated they would have to eliminate 25 million people in these reeducation centers. And when I say ‘eliminate,’ I mean ‘kill.’ Twenty-five million people.
I want you to imagine sitting in a room with 25 people, most of which have graduate degrees, from Columbia and other well-known educational centers, and hear them figuring out the logistics for the elimination of 25 million people. And they were dead serious.”

Not content with this rite of passage in Lefty World - where unrepentant terrorists are regarded as progressive luminaries, still working ‘only to educate’ - both Obamas tended to the relationship with the Ayers.”

Bill Ayers would receive a similar ring while meeting with Vietnamese communists in Toronto. He later recalled being so moved by the gesture that he ‘left the room to cry.’

It may backfire, Leo, but will they let you and me live to see it? You are talking like a person living in the former USA.
I can’t believe how my opinion of Leo has changed.
Isn't it more like, you can't believe how Leo Terrell has changed? That's why Hannity calls him Leo 2.0
... then again, he tirelessly defended OJ Simpson.
I wonder if he’s since changed his mind on all that.
And it’s a 1 of, doing what a 1 of does!

Wow, looks like you’re certainly right on the “Post and run” thing...
Posted well over a hundred threads since Dec 2020 with zero replies and only a single one-line comment at the top of each.
However, at least the threads do seem to mostly be good ones, helping to advance the cause. But if it’s helping him make money, he damn well should donate, if he doesn’t already.

Agreed. The topics aren’t bad. Just basically re-posts, and warned over news, posted as teasers and clickbait. Still looking out for #1, not FR.
Warmed over news, not warned over news.
