I had Shingrix #2 and Pneumovax last fall, same time, same arm. A lot of soreness and tenderness at the injection site, but no fever.
Shingles is awful. I’d get the shot if I were you and, if needed, take a day off from work. If you get a fever it will pass quickly.
Just talked to my doctor’s office. She wants me to get the COVID vaccine before the shingles vaccine (I am male but my doctor is female).
