Former President Barack Obama believes reparations are “justified” and suggests one of the reasons he couldn’t get it through during his tenure was due to “white resentment.”
Obama made the racially divisive remarks during a podcast with musician Bruce Springsteen.

Actually, slavery was not all that productive. Not all workers were slaves. And reparations were made in blood. The blood of hundreds of thousands of REPUBLICANS given to free the slaves held by the DEMOCRATS.

Slaves didn’t really build anything. Its a terrible means of production, highly inefficient, crony-capitalist system. By definition, its always on the verge of collapse- unless enforced through strict government coercion.
If slavery was indeed able to build anything, it would have won the civil war.

Okay, your opposition was due to this imaginary “white resentment.” So what? Why should white people not resent Barack Obama? He’s a complete POS. He is worthy of resentment, especially from white people, but also from American blacks, who he turned into a second class minority in their own country. Illegal aliens, LGBTQX people, and Indians and Pakistani tech workers are about the only people who might not have good reason to resent him.
But no one alive today experienced slavery and no one alive today owned slaves. Slavery was abolished 150 years ago. So, what reparations are they talking about? 40 acres and a mule? And what 40 acres? Do they get to pick and chose? What if they pick 40 acres in San Francisco? Will the Erich White Democrats say no?

So my WHITE antebellum ancestors in Va. that were carpenters and masons, who as far as I can tell never held slaves, never did a hard days’ work?
