White supremacy culture infiltrates math classrooms in everyday teacher actions. Coupled with the beliefs that underlie these actions, they perpetuate educational harm on Black, Latinx, and multilingual students, denying them full access to the world of mathematics.The table below identifies the ways in which white supremacy shows up in math classrooms.
Dismantling white supremacy in math classrooms
We see white supremacy culture show up in the mathematics classroom even as we carry out our professional responsibilities outlined in the California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTP). Using CSTPas a framework, we see white supremacy culture in the mathematics classroom can show up when:
• The focus is on getting the “right” answer.
• Independent practice is valued over teamwork or collaboration.
• “Real-world math” is valued over math in the real world.
• Students are tracked (into courses/pathways and within the classroom).
• Participation structures reinforce dominant ways of being.

I went to night classes at the local community college——got 4.0 in all my classes & it led to better jobs, and eventually led me to be self-employed.
Still have ONE client-—and I just prepared his 2020 data -——which is the 51st year I have done his bookkeeping.
That happens for all students now, not just the black ones. Equality the leftist way means everyone gets dumbed down equally.

Similar undergraduate situation for me except geophysics class. We put up our own dolls with “words\opinions” on them.
They never took them down, so we assumed they never noticed the additions.
This week afro air boeing had 3 planes crash, which is an improvement over the last week when it was 5.
And on a more positive note, this week only 4 rockets exploded at lift off, which is an improvement because, they actually did make it off the ground this time.

I was a 13E Fire Direction Center. and then became a forward observer aka Reconnaissance Sergeant as a 13E and then was in the first group of 13F ‘FISTers’ when that MOS was created in 1978. Our FADACs at Ft. Knox spent more time in the repair shop than they did actually working.
