She’s got a Ed.D. An education doctorate is like a master’s in every other field.
I had a friend that was an assistant principal that was completing their doctorate in education. Proofread her 70 page “dissertation.” My master’s thesis was longer than that, and I had to come up with something unique and new. She basically just analyzed test scores.
This is why, when anyone asks me, “Why don’t you get a doctors in Education?” I just smirk and say, “No, thanks.”

Pretty intellectually empty in fact. Changes nothing about the 10s of thousands of Ed.D.’s who insist on being called
“Doctor” and being believed by morons in the press and the general chattering classes (Whoopie Goldberg— that octomoron, for example. Documented said “she’s a doctor!”) as having some superior quality or... rank.
Just as the “lay ministry” of self-frocked “ministers” (often way out there “churches”, running scams) who call themselves.
“Reverend” (Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson)...... Joel Osteen-— he’s called CEO.
While Jesus is still called.... Lord, in a large part of the world.
What do olde Sicilians call fake priests in the olde country? There sure aren’t any Protestants there, unless mistaken. And no Greek or Russian Orthodoxers either.

Virtually every high or middle school principal is now referred to as 'DOOOCTOR' as holding the degree is vital to being hired.
Now, if there were just a curriculum attached to the degree...
Why, of course! She wears the glasses lower because, obviously, her brilliant head is in the stratosphere!
I have a Ph.D. in economics. I know I know it does not seem I am one. I would never refer to myself as Doctor. I think is is insulting to real doctors who save people’s lives.
According to the genius Whoopie Goldberg, Dr. Jill Biden would make a wonderful Surgeon General.
She does NOT have a PhD. She has an EdD. Those are extremely easy to get.
A lot of people I went to high school with majored in Education in college; most obtained graduate degrees in Education. I can say without hesitation that — with the exception of two — they are some of the most ignorant and intolerant people I have ever known. I attended our 40th class reunion twelve years ago, and they were insufferable, much worse even than they were in high school. I remember thinking: These people must have someone tie their shoes for them. I passed on attending the 50th class reunion.
I saw an EdD dissertation that was titled “Handwashing techniques in Pre-Schoolers”. I am not making that up !
Geez. I’ve got a doctoral degree, but I don’t walk around calling myself Dr. Lurkin.

One should always refer to Doctor Jill as Doctor of Education Jill - apparently she takes her title very, very seriously, and as such we should give her the courtesy of using that title in its fullest, most accurate sense. Also everyone knows that when it comes to academic degrees, one is hard-pressed to find anything more useful and more valuable than a doctorate in education.
She must be Hunter’s ‘doc’. FREE STUFF!!!
