They'll be rotating staff out. Activated guard are positions, not individuals and units can swap out as needed (medical, etc.) One factor is who pays for the transportation if someone is rotated out of cycle. Air tanker and transportation units had the luxury of moving staff around the world whereas other units had to pay commercial carriers.
Maybe the Post Office is in charge of delivering them. /s

They are pretending to be afraid in order to sell their narrative that Trump supporters are a threat.
This is no different than the acting you see with a bogus spousal abuse claim: the woman’s lawyer will get a restraining order and instruct her to pretend to cower and cringe, and strike a defensive pose, whenever the husband walks into the courtroom.
This kind of acting and deceit is right out of the Democrat play book and is disgusting - not only because it damages innocent people’s reputations - but also because it undermines the legitimate fears of real victims and real targets of aggression.
It is all part of their “never let a good crisis go to waste” doctrine. The entire January 6 “riot” was manufactured by Trump’s enemies to smear Trump and his supporters - and they are still milking it for all it’s worth.
Fortunately, the Democrats and their fake news whores lie so much, I doubt anyone is convinced who didn’t already hate Trump to begin with.
In other words, the only ones stupid enough to believe the lies are their own political base - the brainwashed rank and file Democrats.
They are “winning” right now, but in the long run, making fools of your own base does not seem like a winning strategy.

On the times I’ve stayed at a hotel in DC/Arlington....you are talking about a minimum of $240 a night. Would be hard to imagine renting out rooms for 21k National Guardsmen.

I am really surprised that the leftist’s didn’t stage a conservative uprising assassination attempt of biden by having some Marxist’s pop off a shot in the air, completely missing the capital building and then everyone running around screaming they are trying to kill the president!!! Yup, surprised they didn’t STAGE bogus assassination attempt to blame Trump, the NG’s who were there on guard of the planned bogus attempt. I don’t put anything past these scum. They are not through with Trump by a mile. They are going to pack up their lies, put out bogus attempts by him to overthrow biden and you name it, they will do it, to try to put Trump in jail. Trump NEEDs to surround himself with loyal, well trained, diehard men who will protect his life. Otherwise, I don’t put it past some Marxist’s to attempt to murder him now that he will not have all the hords of secret service to protect him. He will have some but not the full group. I wonder how many of the secret service left instead of staying with biden’s Marxist’s regime? Usually some leave.

This should be the start of the resistance. Republican governors should start resisting anything that comes out of this illegitimate administration—kookiness from Pelosi or Biden should be described as such and disobeyed.
It’s up to the governors now. The Republicans in Washington are a waste of time.
