I believe the lower level primaries are controlled as well.
Let me put it another way. We just had one of the greatest republican presidents of all time, one who’s beliefs and actions mirrored most of the common people in the party. How did the party treat him? If you honestly think the party had his back, then by all means stay republican.
I do not believe the republican party represents our thoughts and values any better than the democrat party.
For those who think it will split the vote, I ask you this. If there were two men, one who represented, by words and actions, those qualities we hold dear, but had a P after his name, and another that was our run of the mill republican with an R after his name, who would you vote for? Would you suspend your values to not dilute the vote? And if you would, didn’t you just vote for party as opposed to the man?
What good is any political party when the elections are rigged?
