A few reasons have been cited for the increase, per CNN, from President-Elect Biden’s stated intention to cancel the permits for the Keystone XL pipeline, to hopes for a return to normal from the pandemic to the perception that prices have nowhere to go but up. Traditionally, oil and gasoline prices drop in December and January, but this is far from a traditional year.

Trump loved low per-gallon gas prices and was willing to use his office to boost supply. Biden hates low per-gallon gas prices and will likely damage the market by gratuitously attacking suppliers.

We drive Idaho to California and back a couple times a year. The loss of the vistas in the Columbia River Gorge just break my heart.

I follow this constantly as I invest in energy a lot.

Gas prices will go up more, they have been running behind where they would normally be at this price. I’ll skip explaining why. The price has a ways to go before getting to it’s usual level in relation to the price of a barrel of oil.

Also, Biden’s policy announcements will support the price of oil just like Obama’s policies, (same policies) so how to take advantage will be the same also. People with money are going to make out, everyone else gets trinkets and will be no better off when Harris leaves office.

Will be $1 more by July 15. Corn, wheat, soy also up sharply. HUGE inflation wave coming + higher interest rates.

The 1970s had lots of great things. Kansas, Boston, Star Wars, the Bi-Centenntial. But Jimmy Carter's double-digit interest rates and high gas prices were not among them.

Don't think the Demonicrats have no use for MAGA supporters.

In Washington State Demonicrats have created a use for (presumably) dead MAGA people. Three facilities in Washington have been licensed to turn humans into compost or mulch.

Not sure you want to participate? Then when forced to undergo "MAGA supporter" re-education training camps, avoid the building where they offer free showers and delousing.
