U.S. Marshals at 8:00 a.m. Monday, January 18, 2021, announced that 2,000 National Guard troops were sworn in as Special Deputy U.S. Marshals.

The tweet was posted the morning after U.S. defense officials announced they are worried about an insider attack or other threat from actual service members in the National Guard that are involved in the security of President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration. Deputation gives the guardsmen temporary, limited, law enforcement authority pertaining specifically to the safety and protection of the inauguration and related events.
According to officials, the FBI is vetting 25,000 National Guard service members at the Washington D.C. inaugural, where there is concern that there is a threat to the president-elect.
The vetting of the National Guard troops began deploying to D.C. more than a week ago, and was set for completion by Wednesday.
D.C. National Guard commanding general says they’re taking “no chances” preparing for Joe Biden’s inauguration Wednesday.
Major General William Walker says there are about 21-thousand Guardsmen on the ground in DC as of this morning, roughly three times more than the average for a presidential inauguration.
During his interview, there was a huge moment that wasn’t reported by the mainstream media or any other media outlet.
He said that the National Guard has come to Washington DC from all 50 states to help with the peaceful transition to MILITARY power.

Yet President couldn’t do this in the cities where riots and destruction was going on for 6 months. He was called a dictator for wanting to restore law and order.
Just a tad all for show really. Of course they know a disgruntled anyone in the right place in the military with a few keystrokes and a push of the right key can do more damage at the capitol or anywhere these political loonies gather than 25,000 guardsmen with a few rifles.

Biden should be more worried about them now that he has insulted them.

Taking over security for the inauguration. The mayor of D.C. and her police chief certainly cannot handle 25,000 or more troops.
