However sophistated it may be, for those of us with open eyes, it's very difficult not to arrive at the conclusion that we are living through a coup d'etat.
It's breathtaking to consider the full scope of it. Fixing the exact starting point may be somewhat difficult, but the infamous January 5, 2017 Oval Office meeting is probably as good as any. It would literally take a hefty book to recount the whole thing subsequent from there (and will I'm sure, presuming said book could be published), but you all know the basic outlines: #NeverTrump fragging, false charges of treason with Russia, use of "ballot harvesting" to take the House in 2018, Deep State leakers and turncoats buried throughout government, 24-7 negative media coverage on all channels, impeachment without a crime, the "plandemic", suppression polls, social media censorship, midnight ballot dumps, hacked voting machines, three SCOTUS cowards and a traitor, and finally, the outright unpersonning of anyone who dares to publicly question any of it, starting but certainly not ending with the ability to access the Internet.
America is certainly very unique, and this kind of coup is somewhat, but not entirely (see: Ukraine, 2014), without precedent, so it's hard to know where it all might end up. But looking at the 50-70+ years of uninterrupted Communist rule in the Soviet Union, China, North Korea, and Cuba, and really uninterrupted centuries of other kinds of tyranny all over the world and history, it doesn't seem likely that were we to lose our republic as seems likely in eight days, we will gain it back anytime soon. Maybe we lost it long ago, and it's just a lot more obvious now. Who knows?
So tip one back for the American Republic on January 19. It was good while it lasted, but nothing lasts forever.
Ronna should be fired.
The show aint over.
Thats a pretty good observation and spot on.
Never give up.
Yes. Ronna ROMNEY McDaniel should be fired.
It is not in Trump's character not to go after those who have attacked him. He has said before the he doesn't believe in turning the other cheek but believes in payback. He prefers vengeance against those who have done him harm.
It doesn't sound like him to walk away from such an accomplished presidency and a chance at a second term to just leave sleeping dogs lie.
It has been reported that he has evidence and proof of the many crimes of the democRATS he could use to take the whole bloody mess of them down.
Why won't he invoke the Insurrection Act and/or his own Executive Order #31848 regarding foreign interference in our elections?
So why is he not defending himself and standing up to these people? What does he have to lose to bring them all down with him, if he has to go down at their cheating hands?
Or is he still waiting for the right moment? He's got a week to act.
It’s been a weak ending for Trump in my opinion. He’s barely put up a fight and will probably be impeached tomorrow anyway.
Texas will be solid blue within the next 2 (s)election cycles.
GFY with a 2x4.
I was here defending him non stop till a couple of weeks ago.
After what happened with Barr I started seeing things differently.
Yes we lost the republic in 2008 when SCOTUS refused to do their job in Berg vs Obama, claiming no one had standing. They hid behind standing this time around as well.
Trump broke that.
That is what kicked off the coup, ruled by the Hildabeast.
The Hildabeast studied why Reagan won and thought she had that covered with her rigging...it was not enough and she fell short.
+1
I agree they were all too sure this would end up well...even Pompeo said Trump would have a second term. I believe they were hobbled from the inside...moves and countermoves
In Pennsylvania, the Republican-led state legislature passed a new voting law, Act 77, in spring of 2019 that established no excuse mail-in voting.
I wasn’t aware of this until the day after the election when I called my Republican rep’s office. Why vote on such a law at that time knowing the vitally important election was nearing? All a bit sus right?
He said it was a trade-off in order to get the elimination of the straight-party ballot option, which turned out beneficial for the state offices down ticket but unfortunately not for the President.
I am furious that they agreed to this; probably lost PA for the President.
In your dreams.
You don’t realize just how badly the Commies are hated around here.
That sounds delightful!
Once the Left settles 10 million Central Americans there, it won’t matter.
