I agree they were all too sure this would end up well...even Pompeo said Trump would have a second term. I believe they were hobbled from the inside...moves and countermoves
Trump never ran a business where his people were actively trying to make the business fail. He expected his opposition to be evil, but that treason from inside is one thing that I don’t think he was prepared for.
