Big Tech’s War on Free Speech
American Greatness ^ | 1/11/2021 | Edward Ring

Posted on 01/11/2021 12:08:56 PM PST by Onthebrink

On January 8, in the wake of the protests two days earlier at the U.S. Capitol that left five dead and derailed congressional debate over election fraud, Twitter and Facebook permanently banned President Trump from their platforms. Jack Dorsey, the scruffy billionaire CEO of Twitter, apparently banned Trump while vacationing in French Polynesia.

This action by Twitter and Facebook, while shocking, should not surprise anyone. This is the latest salvo in a war that began the day Trump declared his candidacy. In a series of calculated escalations that will be recounted here, Big Tech has achieved something that would have been unthinkable four years ago, the cancellation of a U.S. president.

The totalitarians learned long ago to put the town crier, the town cop, and the town judge in their proverbial back pocket!

Many of the executives and employees of big tech companies are immigrants from China and India. They are usually from elite families and were able to be educated both here and in their homelands. They are quite accustomed to “non elites” to remain silent, not contradict them and obey. they have little or no inherent understanding that Americans are steeped in individual liberty and freedom. Free speech is ingrained in them. Suspect they will be absolutely astonished along with native born american traitor globalists when the coming backlash occurs in earnest.

Not going to happen if this fraudulent election is allowed to stand.

The state legislatures may restore some semblance of propriety to the voting process by the mid-terms, but it will be too late.

If Big Tech was truly woke, they’ll give 13% of their shares to black folks.

I am not overly encouraged about our future prospects. Even if millions of people quit Twitter,Facebook that still leaves millions who won’t. So big tech can still control the flow of our nformation as they choose. And if you protest too loud or say something the elites don’t like you could be further cut off from information.

Not knowing what the other side is saying or doing wouldn’t allow people to challenge them or keep track f what they may get be planning.

Old Left: Shut down monopolies.

New Left: Is the monopoly.

I regret that I have no Facebook or Twitter account to cancel.

Big Tech’s War on Free Speech

Just wondering if you are having any second thoughts on this topic.

Also wondering how far this has to go before you start getting scared of where it is going.

Not really. I think them banning Trump is stupid and a bad decision but as long as the government stays out of it it's their right.

It isn't as if Trump can't get his message out if he wants to.
