I use gmail online for most email correspondence. Is there another easy online email service I can get started in case..you know. Sh** starts getting real?
Also Kimberly Willingham had these step for preventing apple from deleting Parler from you phone.
Does someone know similar steps to take with an android that is using Parler?
Steps for preventing Apple from deleting Parler from your phone:
1. Go to settings; 2. Click on “screen time” 3. Click: “Content & Privacy Restrictions” 4. Click: “iTunes and App Store Purchases” 5. Click: “Deleting Apps” 6. Click: “Don’t Allow”
Roger that - I’ve been using Proton for a couple of years. It is a VPN service.
They have been doing that for about 16 years.
The folks at Parler are working aggressively to address that issue. Should be back online in a few days.
Try. WIMKIN app. Almost a clone of FB. Owner is migrating services the last couple of days. Free speech platform. Growing a lot. Will be using it for Michigan Conservative Union group shortly.
Thanks everyone. I’ve started up the proton email.
I’m just trying to stay somewhat ahead of blackouts and crack downs before it gets even harder. Today is crazy with the attempts to stop President Trump from any mass communications. And with mozilla poised to go ‘further’ to silence any dissent. I started up Brave browser.
Most folks wouldn’t even know their access to truth was being choked off by these tech moves because it’s already gone so far.
I’ll try to stay updated and informed here at FR. It aint easy.
Yandex Mail or Zoho Mail
Wise choice. Protonmail.com offers a VPN service for a small additional fee. It's not free. I rent the service along with my paid service of $50 a year for the Protonmail plus service.
Agreed Gab has a way better interface than Parler. I can never stand Parler so I haven’t built a following. Gab is really hitting it hard to create a better experience. I just signed up last night. 0 followers so far. LOL. I need to figure out how it all works.
Also, for those that wonder, if you already have the Parker app it’s not going to be deleted from your phone by Apple. Not how that works. You just can’t get it in the Apple Apps anymore.

Just like Gab.com has done and is continuing to do. Andrew the owner just reported that Gab saw a 758% increase in traffic and sign ups in this past week alone.
Proton mail.
I have a Proton Mail account. Good encryption, servers are in Switzerland. Can’t get friends or family to do the same, *sigh*. Might start to change now. Email is only secure if both parties are using it.
Going back to the bad old days of dialup I signed up with Outdoors Unlimited (www.outdrs.net). Before Yahoo, before gmail. I still pay the monthly fee to use their email. Been nigh on 20 years now. They don’t sell my info to advertisers.
At my retirement BOL the only “broadband” ISP is HughesNet satellite. Not for the addicted video streamer types, and weather can interfere with it, but I do get 3 email addresses. Their system also blocks 100% of the Chinese port pings that used to plague me, and if you try to geolocate my URL it tells you I’m in the middle of Kansas. I like that.
get your own domain and use an old desktop computer as a mail server,it isn’t too hard, I think we use IceWarp for the mail server.
Not URL, my IP address. (dope slap)
To keep them from allowing yo to access parler just download a web browser and use it that way. Better yet use a real computer. One with a real keyboard that when you press the buttons they go down and you don’t mash three little phone keys at the same time and the screen does not black out. Iuse parler everyday and I do not use a phone.
When you use any "free" internet service, you need to recognize that you are not the customer, you are the product.
Did you know that the US Mail Service takes pictures of the front and back of every piece of mail that goes through the USPS system?
And they keep that information.
They know every single person you send a piece of physical mail to, and every single person who sends a piece of physical mail to you.
I am NOT kidding.
BUMP. Thanks
