Alternate Electors NOT Forwarded to Congress
Frank Thorp ^

Posted on 01/05/2021 5:20:59 PM PST by TigerClaws

NEW: The office of the National Archives tells @NBCNews it received alternate slates of electors from the GOP in 5 states: AZ GA NM NV PA

BUT, those slates were not forwarded to Congress b/c the Electoral Count Act allows them to only pass along slates certified by the states. 170 926 2.3K

Frank Thorp V @frankthorp · 4h Alternate slates of electors received from entities that are not the state government (the governor or the state legislature) are considered private correspondence, so were not made public until obtained by @PeteWilliamsNBC and @NBCNews via a FOIA request.

The suit from Gohmert. Which Pence had stopped— because Pence has PLENARY powers to address the objections to the Electors, and can toss them out. Going to be interesting.

The alternate Electors have been forwarded to Congress, and the Archivist as well. The objectors have the alternates in hand for submission.

The DC bubble really has it in their heads that this will pass, and we will all get over it. They have no idea of how angry they have made the country.
I think eventually we will have to take and occupy DC in a color revolution, fight and beat down antifa, and probably shoot it out with foreign “peacekeepers” invited in by the swamp.

In all my life I never really actually believed it could happen here. Now I’ll be amazed if it doesn’t.

Chess, while far more sophisticated than Checkers has rules that must be obeyed. This is not Chess the dems are playing. It is Guerilla Warfare.
And, the oh so meek and or, corrupt Republicans are not up to the fight. Not a one of them.
Trump is our champion but, he has waded into The Swamp Completely and Totally alone. He fought the good fight but, as a one-man army, he never had a chance. It’s through sheer grit and determination he accomplished what he accomplished.

Did you really think that no one would post 3 U.S. Code § 6 in its entirety? The National Archives has NO discretion authority to transmit a certificate of electors that doesn’t come from the executive of the state.

“It shall be the duty of the executive of each State, as soon as practicable after the conclusion of the appointment of the electors in such State by the final ascertainment, under and in pursuance of the laws of such State providing for such ascertainment, to communicate by registered mail under the seal of the State to the Archivist of the United States a certificate of such ascertainment of the electors appointed, setting forth the names of such electors and the canvass or other ascertainment under the laws of such State of the number of votes given or cast for each person for whose appointment any and all votes have been given or cast; and it shall also thereupon be the duty of the executive of each State to deliver to the electors of such State, on or before the day on which they are required by section 7 of this title to meet, six duplicate-originals of the same certificate under the seal of the State; and if there shall have been any final determination in a State in the manner provided for by law of a controversy or contest concerning the appointment of all or any of the electors of such State, it shall be the duty of the executive of such State, as soon as practicable after such determination, to communicate under the seal of the State to the Archivist of the United States a certificate of such determination in form and manner as the same shall have been made; and the certificate or certificates so received by the Archivist of the United States shall be preserved by him for one year and shall be a part of the public records of his office and shall be open to public inspection; and the Archivist of the United States at the first meeting of Congress thereafter shall transmit to the two Houses of Congress copies in full of each and every such certificate so received at the National Archives and Records Administration.”

At 73, and not many more years left to live, I think I’ve earned the right to do what the f*ck I want to do without being lectured by you or anyone else. So shut your yap!

"So then the National Archive has the power to make the decision on what is an illegal slate of electors."

Anybody could send a slate of electors to the National Archives. You could do it. I could. What exactly do you expect? The only ones that count are the ones submitted by actual states.

Yep, the alternate electors have been sent direct to the President of the Senate. This article is some puffed up apparat (like a postal clerk) controlling the flow, and citing a portion... a portion of an Act. Lot’s of Congressional Acts are not currently followed, btw— thousands of them— just ignored. So it is the higher governing document, the US Constitution which has NO amendment called the Electoral Act- but has specific Plenary powers spelled out- no ambiguity.

Ditto. I can’t imagine this happening. I, myself, as so many others, sacrificed many years of our lives (in our primes) to protect and defend. And we are quickly becoming an enemy of our own country. This can’t stand!

Alternate Electors NOT Forwarded to Congress

The alternate Electors have been forwarded to Congress, ...

Ok, then the original source article's claim is incorrect. Thanks.

Actually, I’ve been saying that the authority to reject lies only with Congress.

All else can be inferred from that.

He is not alone. They pull any guerrilla stunts, on the streets of DC and all hell breaks loose. He is the #1 Law Enfrorcement officer of the United States. They can try and impeach him later... but these are LAWS they passed years ago, and are there for a reason- even against later swamp monsters.

Come to think of it... the National Archives is unlawfully interfering with the delegate certification and count. Pence can just refuse those states delegates citing the refusal/failure of National Archives to transmit ALL certificates to congress required under federal law.

Yes the Electoral Act, as codified. However.. it is NOT the US Constitution which describes something rather different. They will hash this out. Scared to death of an Electoral Act, meanwhile ignoring thousands of other “Acts” at their politica flatulence directs. The Constitution rules- and the People desire that it be followed.

Whoever is citing an Archivist wherever this is “sourced” has made up some Beltway bullcrap, which suits their losing effort in media to control... Us. The letter of the Article II of the Constitution has been followed, in some cases by Legislatures, in others not, but followed by their approval statements (which media has again... ignored).

No. They only accepted the slates of electors certified by the states.

You are correct-— this has been mapped out since 2018, knowing the contingencies. Pelosi should have a stroke if all goes well— right on the floor of the joint session watch her panties catch fire, and then her facelift synthetic lifters melt and her face fall over her chin. And they’ll all think she hit her first 5th of vodka early.

You need to reread my post

If the National Archive can choose not to process illegal or unconstitutional slates of electors then so too can Pence.
